Dilip Kumar Mukhopadhyay, the Vice Chairman of Domar Upazila Parishad in Nilphamari, resigned after being pressured by students protesting against quota discrimination. The students confronted him in his office and demanded his resignation, which he submitted after failing to convince them otherwise. The resignation has been forwarded to higher authorities by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer.
