Zakir Hossain Nayon, a BNP-supported aspirant for the Dhaka-5 constituency nomination under the Sheaf of Paddy symbol, carried out extensive campaign activities in his electoral area on Friday (October 24) after the Jumu’ah prayers.
As part of his campaign, Zakir distributed leaflets among local residents, highlighting the BNP’s 31-point reform agenda aimed at restoring democratic governance and citizens’ rights. He also exchanged views with local businessmen, workers, and youth groups.
During the campaign, Zakir Hossain Nayon said, “If the party nominates me, I will work to build a society free from terrorism, extortion, and drugs. I will ensure the safety of local businesses and focus on infrastructural development in the area.”
He further added, “The BNP is working to restore people’s rights and guide the nation toward democracy — I want to be part of that struggle.”
